Arvada MVA Fatal

Arvada Fire Protection District was dispatched out to a MVA at 61st Ave & Ward Rd on September 10th, 2017. Dispatch reported that Arvada Police on scene advising that multiple injuries. Support 51 arrived on scene to a multi-vehicle crash involving one motorcycle, with two code blacks, and to add another Engine and a third Medic to the scene for MCI. Engine 55 arrived and started extrication, Tower 56 arrived and spit crews, and Engine 58 provided more man-power. Medic 52, Medic 54 and Apex Paramedics transported patients to local area hospitals. Ward Rd. was shut down for several hours for the investigation. The driver was reported DUI, and 4 died from the accident, that included the driver.
