At 06:30 on April 19th, 2017 Beulah Fire Protection District was dispatched to a wildland fire in the 9200 Block of Pine Dr. Due to high winds and low fuel moisture a mutual-aid request was made to Pueblo County Sheriff Emergency Services Bureau (ESB) Fire Team and Rye Fire Protection District for a type 6 brush truck from each agency. Crews from Beulah arrived on scene and were able to get the fire knocked down. Crews from the other two agencies arrived and helped with containment and getting a line around the fire. The fire was held to around an acre and was started from a tree branch that fell on a power line. Additional story & information provided by Code 4 Photography.
