Littleton Garage Fire

At 15:38 on March 10th, 2017 Littleton Fire Rescue were dispatched to a residential structure fire at 6571 S. Newland Court in Jefferson County. Leaving the station, Engine 13 reported smoke in the air, and arrived a short time later to find heavy smoke showing from the attached garage. Engine 13 assumed command in the offensive strategy and advanced a 1 3/4″ line for fire attack and primary search with Medic 13. Engine 13 established their own water supply and second arriving Engine 19 stretched a backup line to the interior. Battalion Chief 10 assumed command with Chief 10 assisting and SAM 10 was assigned as Incident Safety Officer. With smoke visible from the eaves, Ladder 18 used their aerial to access a void space from the roof. The incident was under control within 30 minutes, all searches proved negative and no injuries occurred.
