Pueblo Erica Court Structure Fire

Around 8:00 on December 8th, 2017 Pueblo Fire Department was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on Erica Ct. in University Park. Engine 8 arrived on scene and sized up a single story single family residence with nothing showing and took command and began investigating. After gaining access to the home Engine 8 found heavy smoke and requested the 2nd in Engine catch the plug. Engine 2 arrived and caught the plug and supplied Engine 8. A back up line was pulled and crews accessed the basement and were able to get a knock on it within a short amount of time. According to the Pueblo Fire PIO 3 residents escaped the blaze and the cause is still under investigation. Photos & Story by Dustin Cox.
