Pueblo Abandoned Structure Fire

Pueblo Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 3rd and Hudson for a structure fire on May 9th, 2017. Dispatch notified crews that the house was abandoned and had burned before. Engine 6 arrived to light smoke showing from the boarded up residence. Engine 1 established a hydrant with a 2 1/2″ line and supplied Engine 6. Crews laddered the alpha side of the residence to access the upper story windows. Truck 1 laddered the back and flowed water on the charlie side through a pre-existing hole in the roof. The fire was contained and is still under investigation. Additional story & information provided by Code 4 Photography.
