Brighton Attic Fire

At 22:22 on October 11th, 2018 Adcom dispatched out Brighton Fire Rescue District & South Adams County Fire Department to a structure fire in the 200 block of N. 6th Ave. in Brighton. Tower 51 arrived to a working house fire from a small single story family residential with smoke and fire showing from the Delta side in the offensive strategy.  Engine 52 arrived and stretched a 1 3/4 pre-connect to the Alpha side for primary search and fire attack. Tower 51 started roof ops, Battalion 51 arrived and request a major Incident Tone for a working fire. Crews found fire in the attack space, and got the fire under control and out at 22:50, started an extended overhaul. No injuries were reported, American Red Cross was called and the fire is under investigation.
