West Metro Restaurant Fire

At 21:01 on August 14th, 2018 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire at 5302 W. 25th Ave. at the Edgewater Inn. Engine 1 arrived on scene to single story restaurant with nothing showing on the Alpha side. District 1 arrived and set up command at W. 25th Ave. and Ames St. Crews found smoke coming from the roof, which may have been a smoking HVAC unit. Command secured the scene at 21:20 and crews continued to investigate with nothing else found, and all units cleared at 22:00.
