Falcon Plane Crash

At 09:20 on November 20th, 2018 El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched out Falcon Fire Protection District to a Aircraft Emergency behind a tire store in the 8300 Blue Gill Dr. on a reported plane crash. Dispatch advised that the plane is behind that location by the fence outside of the Meadow Lark Airport. Engine 311 arrived to a small two passenger plane on its top. Engine 311 and Medic 381 then extricated both patients from the wreckage and Medic 381 then transported one to an area hospital. Engine 311 then cancelled Engine 314 while Engine 311 remanded on scene with El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, during the investigation, Engine 311 and deputies noticed the plane was leaking a small amount of aviation fuel, however crew deemed the scene safe to continue the investigation. The incident is currently being investigated by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Units on Scene: Command 300, Engine 311 & Engine 114 (Cancelled).
