At 11:10 on November 14th, 2018 Weld County Regional Communications Center alerted Greeley Fire Department Engine 2, Ladder 5 and Banner Medic 102 to a traffic accident with injuries vehicle versus house, Upon arrival of Medic 102, they advised a vehicle all the way into the house with a person still inside.  Engine 2 arrived assumed command and requested the response of Battalion 2,  Engine 5 and Rescue 5 to assist with extrication.  Initial units were able to move debris and quickly extricate a patient.  Upon the arrival of additional units access to was made to the house to perform a search of any occupants.  All searches proved negative.  Crews performed progressive shoring in the areas where the car entered the house and then removed the vehicle in a slow controlled manner using the winch from Rescue 5.  One patient was transported to North Colorado Medical Center by Banner Medic 102.  This incident was at the same time as while other units were operating on a structure fire in another part of the city. Additional information provided by Greeley Fire Department.
