Lakewood Motel Fire

At 20:48 on June 29th, 2018 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire in the 500 block of Sheridan Blvd. in Lakewood with possible two burn victims that may be trapped from a explosion. Engine 1 arrived to nothing showing with life safety mode, with 2 burn parties in front, District 1 enroute requested 2 additional medics. Medic 1 arrived and treated one patient and Medic 3 the second patient, which were both transported. Engine 3 assigned as medic group supervisor, but was transferred to Sam 1. Engine 7 set-up on the plug. District 1 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha-Bravo corner in the offensive strategy. Engine 1 arrived and assigned as search, and crews found the fire out in the kitchen area, Lakewood Police Department secured the scene and the incident is under investigation.
