Lakewood Trailer Fire

At 13:53 on January 1st, 2018 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a confirmed trailer on fire with a possible party trapped at 1550 Depew St. in Lakewood. Engine 1 arrived to heavy fire on a single wide trailer, and pulled a line in for fire attack. Medic 1 started search and confirmed that no parties were trapped. District 1 arrived in command with the offensive strategy. Engine 16 arrived and assigned as RIT, and Medic 16 as Medical group at 16th and Depew. Engine 3 pulled a second line in to the Charlie side, Tower 2 started overhaul with Engine 1 and Engine 16 and the fire was put out under control at 14:11 and out at 14:35. Crews worked an extensive overhaul, no injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.

Units on Scene: District 1, District 2, Engine 1, Medic 1, Engine 16, Medic 16, Engine 3, Tower 2, Engine 7, Tower 8, SaM 1 & Bureau 7.
