Loveland & Berthoud Gas Cooling Training
Gas Cooling Training
On October 23rd, 2018 firefighters from Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Berthoud Fire Protection District participated in gas cooling evolutions at the Loveland Fire Training Center. Training included classroom, observing fire and smoke behavior in a small scale model, and live fire training in Loveland’s ‘T-cell’ prop that is made up of 2 40’ shipping containers set perpendicular to each other in the shape of a T. Crews of 2 entered the prop with instructors and practiced what they had learned earlier in the day. Crews then had an after action review of the training day and cleaned up their equipment.
