At 09:40 on November 14th, 2018 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a traffic collision with a person trapped at Hess Rd. and Heirloom Parkway in Douglas County. First arriving Engine 36 found 2 SUV’s, one in a ditch and one on Hess Road with heavy damage. Firefighters used specialized cutting and spreading tools to free the pinned occupant and remove them from the vehicle. 2 people were transported to the hospital and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
