Around 16:00 on March 1st, 2018 crews from Pueblo Fire Department were dispatched to investigate smoke near the area of W 26th Street and Norwich Ave. Shortly after Engine 5 was dispatched, Pueblo City Dispatch upgraded to a residential structure fire as they took several calls. Engine 5 went enroute and reported heavy smoke showing from their station. They arrived on scene to find a fully involved abandoned structure. Chief 3 requested an additional pumper past the first alarm while still enroute. Crews arrived on scene and it was determined this location had burned previously. Crews went defensive and were able to knock the fire down within an hour and remained on scene to continue overhaul.

Crews on Scene: Chief 3, Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 5, Engine 8, Squad 1, and Truck 1.
