Pueblo West 6th Street Structure Fire

Around 20:00 on January 15th, 2018 the Pueblo Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 508 West 6th Street. Heavy smoke was discovered when Engine 1 arrived on scene. There was also a glow showing from the charlie side. Fast attack was done by Engine 1 after arriving. Engine 6 caught the plug for Engine 1 with a line from the hydrant to Engine 1. Crews decided to move the operation to being a defensive attack when the abandoned home had become unsafe for interior operations. Crews remained on scene late into the night extinguishing the fire.
