Westminster House Fire

At 23:31 on October 2nd, 2018 Westminster Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 6100 block of W. 111th Ave. with 911 caller reporting flames showing from the roof. Engine 4 & Medic 4 arrived to a 2-story single family dwelling with a working fire, pulled in a line for fire control, and Medic 4 established a water supply to Engine 4. Battalion 1 arrived on scene and assumed command, SAM 1 as safety, and command requested additional engine and medic to the scene. Engine 5 pulled a second line in on the Charlie side, Engine 2 assigned to make entry at the front door, and Truck 2 with roof ops. North Metro Fire Rescue District was requested for mutual-aid, and Medic 3 set-up with rehab with Medic 61. Fire was put out at 00:10 with no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
