Station 1 Open House

On August 3rd, 2019 Four Mile (4 Mile) Protection District held their open house at Station 1 located at 8437 Teller County Road 11. Burgers and Hot Dogs were grilled right in front of the station, with a bunch of snacks, treats, and live music in the station. Flight for Life Lifeguard 3 also stopped by for a quick visit, letting the community tour the helicopter and the department’s fire apparatus. Shortly after Lifeguard 3 lifted off the firefighters of 4 Mile Fire demonstrated a vehicle extrication. Teller County Sheriff, Teller County Corner, and El Paso-Teller County 911 Authority also participated.
