Castle Rock Gas Leak

At approximately 10:35 on October 26th, 2019 Castle Rock Fire Rescue was dispatched to 5642 Allen Way to the Chipotle Mexican Grill for a gas leak. On Scene, Battalion 151 established Chipotle Command and instructed Engine 154 to investigate the interior and Quint 155 to standby to vent the structure. During Engine 154’s investigation, Engine 154 was not receiving any gas readings and Quint 155 was assigned to access the roof via aerial to investigate the roof of the structure to determine if the gas is escaping through roof vents. After crews cleared the structure of gas, Quint 155 remained on scene for Black Hills Energy, all other units went back into service at 12:00.
