Colorado Springs Trapped MVC

At approximately 20:46 on February 22nd, 2019 Colorado Springs Fire Department Engine 11 was dispatched to the 1900 block of Carmel Dr. for a motor vehicle collision. On scene, Engine 11 reported a vehicle was pinned against a tree and requested a working trapped assignment. Engine 11 also established Carmel Command. Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center then toned out Truck 8, Rescue 17, Battalion 2, and 73; with Security Fire Department Medic 185. Brush 11 then attached themselves to the call to assist Engine 11. Battalion 2 arrived and assumed command. Rescue 17 arrived and was assigned as rescue group supervisor with assistance from Truck 8, Engine 11, and Brush 11. The patient was extricated at 21:32 and immediately transported to an area hospital by Medic 185. At 21:55 fire crews were released from the scene and the scene was handed over to the Colorado Springs Police Department for investigation.
