Colorado Springs Rollover

At approximately 12:55 on August 29, 2019 Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Vincent Dr. & Woodmen Rd. for a vehicle fire. While en route, AMR arrived on scene and advised Engine 14 the collision was a t-bone rollover involving a Jeep and motorcycle with active fire. On Scene, Engine 14 pulled their booster line and checked for injuries. A victim was found possibly trapped, and a trapped assignment was requested. However, first responders were able to extricate the victim. Shortly after the victim was pronounced deceased. Once Medic 6 transported the other victim, the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Major Collision Investigative Unit started the investigation.
