On June 6th, 2019 at approximately 10:15 Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Voyager Parkway and Old Ranch Old. Enroute, Engine 22 requested a truck company to respond. Truck 9 was then assigned to the incident. On scene, Engine 22 reported two a vehicle on its side with one party. A working trapped assignment was then dispatched. Rescue 17 was already dispatched on another call, so Truck 10 responded in their place. Engine 22 began to evaluate the occupants of both vehicles for injuries, waiting for the next in truck company to arrive. Once Truck 9 arrived, they stabilized the vehicle and began to extricate the patient. Truck 10 arrived and was assigned to assist Engine 22 and Truck 9 with extricating the patient. The patient was extricated from the vehicle at 10:37 and transported to an area hospital. Crews then handed the scene over to the Colorado Springs Police Department for investigation.
