At approximately 14:50 on June 30th, 2019 Cimarron Hills Fire Department and Falcon Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 2300 block of Shawnee Dr. Once Cimarron Hills units left the station, they reported a header coming for the area of the incident and called the incident a working structure fire. Squad 1371 arrived on scene and reported heavy fire on the exterior Bravo side of the structure. Ladder 1331 arrived and pulled a supply line, along with a primary attack line. Engine 314 arrived and also pulled a supply line with a attack line, and Ladder 1331 was reassigned to perform searches with Squad 1371. Chief 1302 arrived and assumed command. The fire was put under control at 14:57, with Engine 314 continuing to search for the source of smoke coming from the attic and check for extension. Ladder 1331 and Squad 1371 completed primary and secondary searches, and Squad 1371 was then reassigned to vent the roof.
