South Metro Kitchen Fire

On May 29th, 2019 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a confirmed multi-family structure fire at 3855 Canyon Ranch Rd. in Highlands Ranch. The 911 caller reported a kitchen fire with flames several feet tall.  With nothing showing from the 2-story condo on arrival Engine 33 began investigation with a water can while Engine 17 positioned near a hydrant and stretched a 1.75” line.  The fire was quickly controlled with the can, all searches proved negative and no extension was found.  Several companies were held to assist with ventilation and to reload hose.
