Inter-Canyon Garage Fire

Around 13:00 on March 15th, 2019 Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire on Crystal Dr. in Hilldale Pines. Crews arrived to heavy flames and smoke showing from the garage and extending into the home. The area is not served by hydrants, and water tenders were requested for water shuttle. Crews worked the fire with heavy snow on the ground, which made firefighting operations a challenge and dangerous. Crews got the fire under control before 15:00 and started an extensive overhaul. All residents escaped the home safely. Crystal Dr. at Granite Circle was closed for several hours. Additional information provided by Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District
