Lakewood Commercial Fire

At 09:44 on June 23rd, 2019 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported commercial structure fire at the Fairfield Commons 98 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Engine 7 arrived on scene to nothing showing from a large mega-box strip mall with evacuations. Engine 1 arrived to the hydrant at the Alpha-Bravo side. Crews investigated and found smoke showing from the inside vent in the TJ Max store, Tower 2 arrived and assigned to the roof. District 1 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha side, and SAM 1 assigned as safety. Crews found small fire from a motor from a HVAC unit on the roof.
