Ice Rescue Training

On January 14th, 2019 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority C shift conducted their annual ice rescue training at a small pond in Loveland. Each duty crew rotated through the training site during the day. Firefighters demonstrated their ability to self-rescue, reach for a victim with a tool, throw an ice rescue board to a victim, and go in the water to rescue the victim.

Units on Scene: Engines 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Engine 5, Engine 6, Rescue 2, Tower 6 & FIT 2
