MDA Proclamation Ceremony

A special proclamation ceremony was held on August 26th, 2019 at the Colorado Professional Fire Fighter Offices in Lakeside for the 2019 Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), this is the 65th Annual Fill the Boot campaign, and hosted with members of the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters, Denver Metro Fire Departments and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The event kicked off the Fill the Boot campaign where firefighters will fan out across Denver Metro and Northern Colorado with boots in hand, asking pedestrians, motorists, customers and other passersby to donate to MDA. Guest speakers, support, dedication and words of encouragement as the area firefighters hit the street were from Director of Public Affairs, for Mayor Hancock, Gloria Neal; Representation Monica Duran; Representative Tracy Kraft-Tharp; President of the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters, Mike Frainier; West Metro Fire Chief, Chief Lombardi and Dennis Eulberg, MDA Liason for the Colorado Professional Firefighters. Additional information was provided by the Denver Firefighters Local 858.
