Milliken Garage Fire

At approximately 02:08 on December 16th, 2019 Weld County Regional Communications Center (WCRCC) dispatched Front Range Fire Rescue and Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Protection District, to a residential structure fire in the 200 block of E. Holly St. in Milliken. Milliken Police Department was the first on scene and reported flames and black smoke coming from the attached garage and also reported that all the people were out of the home. Engine 2902 arrived, took command, and initiated fire attack on the fully involved garage. After the fire was knocked down ceilings were pulled in both the garage and inside the home to check for extension and a fan was placed at the front door to ventilate the smoke from the home. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation. Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Engine 6 covered Front Range Fire Rescue Station 1 during the fire.
