Pueblo County Garage Fire

On August 20th, 2019 just before 16:00 a Pueblo County Road and Bridge driver reported a garage fire on the radio to Pueblo County Comm. Shortly after Pueblo County Sheriff Emergency Services Bureau (ESB) Fire Team was toned out for a working fire. Mutual aid was requested from Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District and Pueblo Chemical Depot Fire due to the location and conditions. Pueblo Rural arrived on scene first and found a working fire in a large garage. An offensive attack was initiated as crews tried to make a quick stop. Crews from ESB and Pueblo Chemical Depot arrived a short time later and crews worked for several hours knocking the fire down and overhauling the structure. Due to the building being a grow house no one entered as to preserve any evidence for deputies. Pueblo West Fire also responded to assist with manpower.
