Residential Structure Fire

Around 16:00 on August 7th, 2019 Pueblo Fire Department was dispatched by Pueblo 911 Communications Center to the 1700 block of E. 5th St. on a reported residential structure fire. The caller reported something on fire in a bedroom and a smell of something burning as well. The caller had evacuated but possibly went back in to retrieve items. Focused Response Unit 82 arrived on scene first with two firefighters and found nothing showing from the residence. Upon completing a 360, smoke and fire was found in the Bravo-Charlie corner of the residence. Engine 31 arrived and began stretching lines and due to the intensity of the fire an additional suppression unit was requested. Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes before calling the fire under control. Additional story & information provided by Code 4 Photography.
