The first annual Fill the Boot event at Firehouse Subs 650 S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood. The community came out to meet with West Metro Firefighters, tour the emergency equipment, learn about fire safety, try on the bunker gear, antique Mack fire engine and kids activities, the event is also a kick off for the West Metro Fire Rescue Family Fire Muster on September 28th, 2019. The event is to help support MDA’s Fill the Boot campaign.
