Lakewood Nevada Place Fire

Around 21:35 on November 23rd, 2019 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire at 12368 Nevada Pl. in Lakewood. Engine 4 arrived to a 3-story multi-family structure with active fire on the first floor with heavy smoke showing, and pulled 1 3/4 line on the Alpha side in the offensive strategy. Crews encountered light smoke with bad visibility and hoarding conditions inside. Medic 4 found the fire source in the kitchen area and the fire was quickly extinguished, and crews started an extended overhaul. No injuries were reported.
