Westminster Garage Fire

At 04:25 on August 11th, 2019 Westminster Fire Department responded to a detached garage fire in the 3300 block of W. 73rd Ave. Engine 1 arrived to fully involved garage on fire in the rear of the address on Irving St. Engine 1 pulled a 1 3/4 attack line for fire attack with Medic 1, and Engine 2 established a water supply to Engine 1. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha side in the offensive strategy. Truck 2 arrived and assisted crews with fire control and primary search. Engine 12 and Engine 3 arrived and assigned to go on deck on the Alpha side, and Medic 2 setup as EMS / Rehab. Crews got the fire put under control at 04:48. Crews started overhaul after the fire investigation was completed. No injuries were reported and the fire cause is unknown at this time and under investigation.
