West Metro Brush Fire

At 17:22 on June 18th, 2020 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire in the 2600 block of S. Moore Dr. along Bear Creek Trail in Lakewood. District 2 arrived to a less then one acre brush fire, and Rescue 10 arrived and assigned to pull a hand-line for fire attack. Crews got the fire out quickly and started mop-up on hot spots. The fire appears to be human-caused and is in the same area as another suspicious fire about a week ago. Additional information was provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
