Clifton Structure Fire

On June 9th, 2020 at approximately 03:15 Clifton Fire Protection District was dispatched for a possible residential structure fire around 31 ½ Rd. & D ½ Rd. 911 caller reported seeing flames in the area, unknown exact location. Chief 21 arrived in the area and located a working fire in the soffit and attic area of a two-story wood frame residential structure in the 400 block of Mesa Lakes St. and established Mesa Lakes Command. Truck 21 arrived on scene and pulled an 1 3/4 handline through the front door for fire attack. An additional line was pulled to the side of the house and a ladder was set up to gain access to the fire. Fire was held to the exterior of the home, soffit, and attic space, with some damage interior.
