Broadmoor MVC

At approximately 01:00 on February 10th, 2020 Broadmoor Fire Protection District was dispatched to the was dispatched to the 4100 block of Old Stage Rd. for a MVC with injuries. Once Engine 625 went en route and requested additional resources from Colorado Springs Fire Department for a low angle rescue, due to the vehicle going over the edge and dropping 150 feet. Engine 625 arrived and reported all parties were out and that they were sending a firefighter to go down and check on the patients. Crews advised they were starting to move patients up the ridge to the command post. Once CSFD resources arrived, Battalion 1 assisted with command, Station 5 and Station 13 crews assisted with up hauling the patients. Engine 13 medic then advises a patient was suffering from a head injury and a back injury and requested a stokes basket. At approximately 02:46 command was terminated and patients were transported to an area hospital.
