East Grand Deck Fire

At 13:33 on November 16th, 2020 East Grand Fire Protection District and Grand Fire Protection District were paged to the 200 block of County Rd. 833 in Fraser for a possible structure fire. Dispatch advised the RP, a neighbor, had rescued a dog from the residence. While enroute, Medic 5 reported smoke showing. On scene Chief 450, found the deck of the house on fire and advised Engine 482 to arrived and grab the plug in front of the home. Ladder 491 arrived and began a primary, while Medic 5 established rehab. Engine 481 was able to quickly knock the fire. When Tender 461 arrived they were assigned to assist Engine 482 with overhaul. The fire is currently under investigation.
