Clear Creek Restaurant Fire

On May 15th, 2020 around 03:30 Clear Creek Fire Authority responded to 606 6th St. in Georgetown for a structure fire. Crews arrived to find fire and smoke showing from a two-story building and started fire attack and requested mutual-aid. Crews worked heavy fire and found fire in the basement area. One firefighter was briefly trapped in the building when the floorboard collapsed into the basement and the main level gave way. The firefighter was treated on scene with no transport. The fire was in the Lucha Cantina which is located in the old Red Ram Restaurant building which suffered heavy fire damage. Crews were able to keep the fire from the several other historical businesses. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Clear Creek Fire Authority
