At 18:55 on July 9th, 2020 Grand Fire Protection District and Grand County EMS were paged to the River Run RV Resort for a rollover with injuries. Upon arrival, EMS 1 arrived to a silver pickup on it’s side in the creek, and established River Run command and began accessing the scene. Units discovered a patient trapped inside the vehicle with minor injuries. Rescue 345 arrived on scene and began to extricate the patient. Engine 313 arrived and assisted Rescue 345, while Medic 5 tended to the patient. Once the patient was extricated they were handed over to Medic 5, while fire units began to pack up equipment. Engine 313 was then cleared from the scene, while Rescue 345 remained on scene to mitigate fluids leaking from the vehicle. Command 302 was then dispatched to the Red Dirt Fire Station to pickup the county Haz-Mat trailer to dam the fluids leaking in the creek. Once Command 302 arrived to the scene firefighters made quick work with haz-mat booms and fire units were cleared from the scene. The patient was released from the scene and the scene was handed over to Colorado State Patrol and Granby Police Department.
