Grand Junction Structure Fire

At approximately 21:00 on September 1st, 2020 Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched with a full structure compliment for a fire in trees next to a structure in the 1700 block of North 15th St. Engine 2 arrived on scene to a small, single story structure with a fire in the front yard involving trees. Engine 2 assessed the structure for extension and ensured a complete knockdown on the fire. All incoming units were released enroute. The fire was limited to the exterior and is under investigation. N. 15th St. was shut down while the fire was handled.
