Timber Slash Fire

On November 21st, 2020 around 17:00 Grand Junction Fire Department responded to reports of tree stumps on fire near 2678 B ½ Road in Orchard Mesa. Engine 4 was dispatched for reports of flames in the field behind the address. Engine 4 arrived on scene and found timber slash on fire in a wooded area and requested Tender 5 for water supply. Brush 5 also responded to assist Tender 5 and Engine 4. Ambulance 4 was requested to pick-up Brush 4 from HQ on their way back from a hospital transport. Battalion 1 picked up Brush 4 and redirected Ambulance 4 straight to the incident. The fire was limited to involved brush and timber slash and no structures were threatened.
