La Junta Wildland Fire

La Junta Fire Department responded to a wildland fire in the Timpas Creek at Rd. CC on April 7th, 2020. Upon arrival crews found active fire burning in brush and tamarisk. Aggressive attack stopped the fire progress. Complete mop up with assistance from Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control Engine 34.
