West Metro Vegetation Fire

On June 30th, 2020 at 14:25 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a small vegetation fire in the area of W. 6th Ave. frontage Rd. and Parfet St. in Lakewood. District 1 arrived on scene to a small working vegetation fire that was being extinguished by people passing by. Tower 2 arrived and pulled an 1 3/4 line, and Engine 6 arrived and used a booster line and wildland suppression tools to extinguish the fire and put out any hot spots. The fire was put out quickly and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
