Lakewood Kitchen Fire

At 08:52 on June 4th, 2020 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire in the 5500 block of W. 16th Ave. in Lakewood at the Mitchell’s Mobile Home Court. Engine 1 arrived on scene to a mobile home with light smoke showing from the vents, and started fast attack mode in the offensive strategy on the Alpha side. Medic 1 started ventilation, and District 1 arrived and assumed command. Engine 16 arrived and set-up for a water supply at W. 17th Ave. & Depew St. and Tower 2 assigned to assist with search. Crews found fire in the kitchen area and got a quick knock. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
