Westminster Vegetation Fire

On July 4th, 2020 Westminster Fire Department & North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to the vegetation fire in the Open Space at W. 120th Ave. & Lowell Blvd. Crews arrived to the Historic Metzger Farm with structures threatened from fire showing from the open space. Units made a stop before any structure was damaged. Engine 66 supplied Engine 4, and they operated the master stream of fire in the cat tails. The fire cause is under investigation.
