Just before 15:00 on March 19th, 2020 a Pueblo County Sheriff deputy had a tractor trailer pass him going southbound on I-25 that had flames showing from the cab. He was able to make a traffic stop between mile marker 106 & mile marker 105 and Pueblo County Sheriff Emergency Services Bureau (ESB) Fire Team was dispatched. Due to the high winds and a wildland threat mutual-aid was requested from Pueblo West Fire Department. Engine 833 arrived on scene first to a fully involved semi tractor. The trailer was not on fire and crews pulled a line and attacked the fire from the shoulder. Tender 191 arrived and provided water to Engine 833 while Tender 192 served as a blocker shutting down the slow lane. Brush 861 and Brush 161 also responded to prevent any wildland involvement. Both units cleared quickly and returned to service. Additional information provided by Code 4 Photography
