South Metro Dryer Fire

On December 6th, 2020 at approximately 11:05 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 7431 S. Memphis St. in Arapahoe County. Engine 42 arrived on scene within minutes and quickly extinguished a fire in a dryer. The fire was contained under the dryer and did not extend to the structure. Crews remained on scene to help ventilate the building and assist with cleanup. No injuries were reported.
