Bear Creek Apartment Fire

At 09:48 on March 1st, 2020 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible apartment fire in the 8100 block of W. Eastman Pl. in Bear Creek. Medic 10 arrived to a two-story apartment complex with smoke showing from the Alpha side 2nd floor in the offensive strategy and life safety priority, Rescue 10 arrived and took command and pulled a line up to the 2nd floor for an exterior deck fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which was contained to the outside of the structure and the rest of the response was cancelled. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire was from smoking materials disposed of in a flower pot on the deck. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
