West Metro Vegetation Fire

On July 13th, 2020 at 15:22 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a vegetation fire in the area of the 700 block of Miller Ct. in Lakewood. Tower 2 arrived on scene and pulled an 1 3/4 line for fire attack. District 1 arrived on scene and assumed command. Engine 2 secured the water supply to Tower 2 and connected a 3” supply line to a hydrant. Crews remained on scene extinguishing hot spots. The cause is under investigation.
