Arvada Structure Fire

On December 17th, 2021 at 03:26 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District was dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 5900 block of Ellis Court. Engine 58 arrived to a small two-story residential structure with a working fire and smoke showing from the attic, pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack and established their own water supply. Battalion 52 arrived and took over command in the offensive strategy. Truck 31 arrived and assigned to the roof, Engine 53 pulled a 2nd line in for search rescue and fire control with Medic 56, and Tower 56 set-up with ventilation. Crews found fire that started in a bathroom fan unit and spread to the attic before quickly knocking down the fire. Crews remain on scene to conduct overhaul and hot spots. No injuries were reported.
